Emergency Procedures

🔥 Fire Emergency

  1. Activate fire alarm and call 911
  2. Evacuate immediately using nearest safe exit
  3. Close doors behind you (do not lock)
  4. Proceed to designated assembly area
  5. Report to evacuation warden for accountability
  6. Do not re-enter building until cleared by fire department

🚑 Medical Emergency

  1. Call 911 immediately for serious injuries
  2. Provide first aid if trained and safe to do so
  3. Do not move injured person unless in immediate danger
  4. Meet emergency responders and guide them to victim
  5. Notify emergency coordinator and management
  6. Complete incident report within 24 hours

⚠️ Hazardous Material Spill

  1. Alert others in immediate area
  2. Evacuate spill area and restrict access
  3. Call emergency services if required by SDS
  4. Notify emergency coordinator immediately
  5. Only trained personnel should attempt cleanup
  6. Ventilate area if safe to do so

🌪️ Severe Weather / Natural Disaster

  1. Monitor weather alerts and warnings
  2. Move to designated shelter area if tornado warning
  3. Stay away from windows and exterior walls
  4. Remain in shelter until all-clear is given
  5. Evacuate if building damage is suspected
  6. Account for all personnel at assembly point

🔒 Security Threat / Violence

  1. Call 911 immediately
  2. Run: Evacuate if safe route available
  3. Hide: Secure in place if evacuation not possible
  4. Fight: As last resort if life is in immediate danger
  5. Follow law enforcement instructions
  6. Provide information to authorities
